Junior IT administrator/ DevOps engineer

We are seeking a results-oriented and skilled profile to bring the company’s IT and CI infrastructure to an advanced level. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Manage, improve and scale our server infrastructure (synchronization, updates, backups, etc)
  2. Organize and maintain our relationships with IT-related subcontractors
  3. Automate monitoring, diagnostics and alerts (raid error, ram overflow, zombie processes and unusual loads across servers, etc)
  4. Enhance our current CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines (based on Gitlab CI)
  5. Help newcomers getting setup: order their hardware, give them access rights where needed, etc
  6. Support your colleagues with day to day IT issues

You will be working closely with the R&D team and will collaborate on the most innovative engineering projects.

Required skills:


  • Good knowledge of basic IT tools: Unix shell, some scripting, Red Hat/Fedora distro basics
  • knowledge about systemd services


  • Professional level English;
  • Strong team spirit and communication abilities, in a multisite environment;
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively on assigned tasks.
  • Strong ability to learn, by yourself and from others

Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with container tooling (podman, docker), systemd services
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Perl and Python
  • Used to build or change PC/server parts
  • Knowledge of Gitlab CI, Gitlab CI pipelines

Bonus skills:

  • Worked with proprietary EDA tools (Cadence or Siemens/Mentor) tools
