Squid game on GAP – end to end demo development

Context:

Responsibilities:

This internship aims at developing, prototyping and testing end to end demo application on GAP, 1-2-3 GAP inspired by “1-2-3 sun/grandmother’s footstep” game. The task involves:

  1. System design: design the game system from A -> Z based on GAP.
  2. According to the system, reuse and extend existing algo and codes.
  3. System implementation (C programming), with sensors and ext-devices. 
  4. Potentially propose extension, sw or hw for the demo.
  5. Shoot marketing video for GAP business promotion.

The internship duration is 6 months. 

Required skills:

Technical:

  • Good knowledge of C programming and Microcontroller Architectures
  • Basic Knowledge of RTOS
  • Knowledge in AI/deep learning and computer vision
  • Software debug techniques and experience with MCU programming 
  • High-level programming experience (e.g. C/C++/Python) appreciated

Non-technical:

  • Good level of spoken and written English;
  • Strong team spirit and communication abilities, in a multisite environment;
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively on assigned tasks.

Desired skills:

  • Knowledge of parallel embedded architectures and DSP processors;
  • Familiarity with versioning/revision control systems (git).

Expected background:

  • Master’s degree student in Computer/Electrical Engineering;
  • Projects done in computer vision / MCU programming / C programming
