      Dear Greenwaves Team,
I’m Gianmarco Cerutti and I’m working on keyword spotting on GAPuino in ETH, Zurich.

I cannot install the official SDK-release because the precompiled version is not compatible with Ubuntu18.

So I compiled the gap8 toolchain and now I’m able to compile the example programs.

Unfortunately, whenever I try to load the compiled program, the terminal gives me this error on the terminal:

Executing command: plpbridge –config gap@config_file=boards/gapuino_spi.json –cable ftdi@digilent –boot-mode=jtag –binary=test/test reset stop load ioloop reqloop start wait
      Found ftdi device i:0x403:0x6010:0
      Connecting to ftdi device i:0x403:0x6010:0
      ft2232: Connection failed
      ft2232: ftdi_stream_out has failed
      ft2232: ftdi_stream_inout has failed
      ft2232: ftdi_stream_out has failed
      ft2232: ftdi_stream_inout has failed
      ….
      ….
      ft2232: ftdi_stream_inout has failed
      Segmentation fault (core dumped)

then keyboard and mouse doesn’t work and I need to reboot the laptop

I know that Ubuntu18 is not supported, but do you know any workaround to make the program loading run?

      Thank you in advance,
      Gianmarco Cerutti

      make clean all

      it works without errors

      make run

here is the output of the console

      mkdir -p /home/gianmarco/workspace/ETH/programs/gap_sdk/examples/pulp-examples/helloworld/BUILD/GAP8/GCC_RISCV
