GreenWaves Technologies has been selected for funding under the latest round of the European Union’s H2020 SME Instrument Phase 2 for its High Efficiency Access Solution for Internet of Things (HEASIT) project, together with 37 other SMEs and among 960 candidates. It is the only French laureate.

After contractualisation with the EC, the company can receive up to 1.18M€ in support of the execution of its HEASIT project.

“We are honored and thrilled to have been selected for such a highly sought after instrument” comments Loic Lietar, co-founder and CEO. “This will significantly accelerate our time to business”.

IoT services increasingly call for wireless connectivity that ensures Mb/s data rate in addition to kilometers of range, years of autonomy and low cost. This is exactly what HEASIT will deliver thanks to GreenOFDM, the company’s disruptive proprietary technology that  augments and complements existing Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) solutions.

High data rate IoT is required for capacity, over the air SW upgrade, frequent sensors data upload and the exploitation of rich sensors such as image, sound and motion sensors.
