GreenWaves Technologies to Showcase Facial Recognition Demo on Ultra-Low Power GAP8 Processor at Embedded Technologies 2019
GAP8 enables intelligent devices with facial recognition and other AI applications to operate for years on a battery
WHO: GreenWaves Technologies
WHERE: Embedded Technologies Expo & Conference, Booth No. 2030, San Jose McEnery Convention Center, 150 West San Carlos Street, San Jose, Calif. 95113
WHEN: Tuesday, June 25 – Thursday, June 27, 2019
WHAT: GreenWaves will be demoing a facial recognition application running on its ultra-low power GAP8 IoT application processor. With GAP8, companies can cost-effectively develop, deploy and autonomously operate intelligent devices that capture, analyze, classify and act on the fusion of rich data sources such as images, sounds, radar, infra-red or vibrations.
Thanks to GAP8’s extremely low standby power consumption, intelligent devices running facial recognition and other types of artificial intelligence applications can run for years on a battery. Facial recognition technology can be integrated into consumer electronics, security systems, smart toys and other types of connected devices for consumers and businesses. GreenWaves will also be showcasing its GAP8 Software Development Kit and GAPuino Development Board.
